There are many ways to get involved in addition to volunteering as a Big Brother or Big Sister:

Donating

Giving to Big Brothers Big Sisters helps young people right in your local community. Help support the matches in your area by donating now.

Give Your Time

If you have a particular talent or want to volunteer for special events, call us at (802) 257-0361. We are always looking for volunteers to help us with Bowl for Kids’ Sake and our annual Bake Sale. We are also always in need of and looking for Local Ambassadors who can promote Big Brothers Big Sisters in various ways. Local Ambassadors are either Bigs or friends of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program who:

  • Provide key information regarding community events and key people to contact for a specific area
  • Distribute Big Brothers Big Sisters’ promotional materials—flyers, brochures, posters—to local businesses, events, and potential volunteers
  • Assist in recruitment by spreading the word and referring potential Bigs
