and/or Farm Camp Intern
Deer Ridge Farm & Farm Camp offers a variety of opportunities to learn
about sustainable living (solar energy, greenhouses, organic farming)
and local foods cooking and running a farm stand. We also run an incredible
small Farm Camp where you can learn about working with children from a
teacher with 23+ years of experience and build your resume.
Dates & Times: After school March - June
Summer 8:30am - 4:00pm or 8:30am - 1:00pm
Pay Rate: Housing (room & board), paid attendance at farm teen conference
in August, training and end of commitment stipend ($100/wk usually)
Qualifications:
We
are flexible in arrangements if you are enthusiastic, have good sense
and references.
